About

Soulful, passionate, stirring...these are the words most often used to describe Gabriel Arnold’s music. Forged in North Florida on Amelia Island, Gabriel’s big, rich tenor sound is unmistakably his. He started playing the saxophone at the Fernandina Beach Middle School in 1986. It was then that his love for music flourished, and he enjoyed the attention he got from performing in the Jazz bands through high school. In 1992 Gabriel earned a full music scholarship to Florida Community College at Jacksonville. He continued his education for three years when he had to put it down and provide for his new, young family. In 2001 Gabriel attended the Morningstar Church (Now Southpoint Community Church) in Jacksonville, FL and they motivated him to buy a new saxophone and start to play again. This inspired him to start performing in church, local restaurants and that lead him to many more opportunities.

Gabriel also performs on Wind Synth’s and Loop Stations. The newest being the Roland AE-30 Digital Aerophone. It is a digital wind synthesizer that can emulate any other wind, string or electric instruments. So, he can perform as a violin, flute, oboe, trumpet, guitar, or any other musical instrument with this new unique device. His Roland RC505mkii Loop station allows him to record what he plays Live and perform with those recorded passages in real time creating ambient originals on the spot.

Gabriel is the primary saxophone player for The Rivertown Band (www.therivertownband.com) mostly performing private corporate and wedding events from Miami to NYC. You will also find him performing with a local band in Fernandina Beach, FL named the Trash Panda’s lead by Samuel McDonald. If you travel through the Jacksonville International Airport Lobby you may have heard him playing during the week for more than 12 years. Gabriel also serves at his home Church in St. Mary’s, GA (Restoration Church) on Bass, Keys, Saxophone, assisting with sound/lights or performing on the Aerophone. What Gabriel enjoys the most is being hired as a DJ or saxophone soloist for private events like weddings, anniversaries, receptions, and other similar gatherings.

If you have witnessed his performances, you know that Gabriel really loves music and performing for others. We thank you for visiting this page and supporting his passions.
